While the last seven months
of the Canadian cattle industry have been pretty much
unpredictable and filled with turmoil, there have been
many bright spots and lots of hope and enthusiasm for
the future.
There was a huge vacancy
in the barns at this year's Royal, when over 60 exhibitors
left for home taking with them the 202 head that the day
before had made for an excellent showing of 'The Breed
In the Lead.'
Over the past 50 years
the BP prefix for Bar Pipe Farms of Okotoks, Alta., has
become world famous and synonymous with quality and predictability
in the Hereford breed.
